Jason Scott Jones, age 49 of Marble, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021.
He was born in Swain County to Carlene Hardin Jones and the late Dick Jones. Jason had worked for West Contracting as a heavy equipment operator. He loved to build furniture out of laurel, and loved fishing and nature. Scott was a member of Junaluska Baptist Church.
He is survived by his significant other, Margie Mason; daughters, Darian Jones and Mckena Jones; step-sons Jonathan and Jeremiah Whitmore; brothers, Travis Jones and Trevor Jones and wife Dayna; nieces, Alexis and AdaLynn; and nephew, John Rennly Jones.
