Kimmy Edward Cordin, age 59 of Murphy, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
He was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon to the late Kimsey and Mary Lou Cordin on September 14, 1962. Kimmy had worked at Industrial Opportunities Incorporated (IOI).
In addition to his parents, Kimmy is preceded in death by three infant sisters, Mildred, Mennice and Mattie Cordin; and a brother, Leo Cordin.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan Cordin; six sisters, Margaret Tilley, Eva Ward (Roy), Eloise Hooper (Harold), Betty Yearwood, Deloris Harble (Cleve) and Shirley Clark (Don); and six brothers, Bill Cordin (Stephanie), Herburt Cordin (Shelia), Samuel Cordin (Becky), Larry Cordin, Danny Cordin (Micky) and David Cordin (Christine).
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Eddis Dockery will officiate. Burial will be in Hanging Dog Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Strickland, Jason McCoy, Harvey Kephart, Michael Strickland, Kevin Strickland and Ernie Sherman.
The family will receive friends from 12pm-1pm on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
