Annie Mae Bradley Brown, age 88 of Young Harris, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna Estee Ramey Bradley. Annie had worked for Tigers Dry Goods as a sales person and cashier. She enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, and working in the yard.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edwin Brown; two grandsons, Jeffery E. Brown and Andrew R. Brown; granddaughter, Kelley L. Smart and two great grandchildren, Casey S. Brown and Lacey Brown.
Surviving are her three sons, Ronald Brown, Thomas Brown and wife, Susan, and Lonnie Scott Brown, Sr and wife, Rose; two daughters, Linda Kay Cooksey and husband, Harry and Melda Brown; brother, Ernest J Chastain Sr. and wife Sue; sisters, Geneva Lee and Genette Dye; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Many Forks Baptist Church. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Many Forks Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Chastain, Junior Chastain, John Paul Chastain, Jason Lee, Brandon Lee and Cordel Dye. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Churchill, Justin Lee and Jordan Lee.
The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Hayesville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Many Forks Church Cemetery Fund in Young Harris, Georgia.
