Roberta "Bobbie" Jean Roper Morgan, age 91 of Andrews, NC passed away Friday, April 1, 2022.
She was born in Macon County, NC to the late William and Estella Denny Roper. Bobbie was a Teacher's Aide in the public school system. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and liked reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Morgan; one son, Stanley Morgan; two brothers, Gay and Odell Roper; and two sisters, Ruth Cope and Pauline Dills.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Rohrer (Jim) and Robin Cochran (Keith); one sister, Connie Lawrence; two grandchildren, Becca and Joseph Rohrer; and two great grandchildren, Rex and Gus Rohrer.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the Bethel Hill Baptist Church in the Nantahala community. Rev. John Bailey will officiate. Music will be provided by Pam Warlick and Norma Jean Douthit. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Lawrence, Dennis Cochran, Shane Gregory, Stanley Gibson, Devin Schnuphase, Brandon Rhodes, Burton Cochran, John Bryson, Keith Owenby and Jim Cope.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the Bethel Hill Baptist Church.
