Corey Mobley, age 36, of Murphy, NC passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022.
He was born in Fannin County, Georgia to Michael and Cathy Mobley Ballew of Murphy, NC. Corey had worked as a Rock Mason and also as a Directional Driller in the electrical industry. He liked fishing, Georgia football, and loved the beach. Corey was a car fanatic, especially Mustangs.
Surviving in addition to his parents, the love of his life, Courtney Holbrooks, a sister, Amber Ballew (Dustin); nephews, Austin Drennan, and Mason Drennan; and family friend, Janet Hancock.
Graveside services will be held at Crestlawn Cemetery in Copperhill, TN at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 with Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad, Brian, and Brandon Ensley, Donnie Kendall, Mark Wilson, and Evan Collins. Austin and Mason Drennan will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
