Obituary for Eddie Dean Ware

Eddie Dean Ware, age 75, born September 18, 1948 and passed away February 11, 2024. He was the son of Lake and Edna Ware. Dean had worked for Bear Paw Community for over 30 years doing maintenance and then security for 19 years. He loved working and taking care of people's lawn, racing, loved his little dog Winters, and helping people. Dean was of the Baptist faith and had sung with his sisters in the group (Spiritual Echoes).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Polly Crowder, and Ruth White; brothers, Bud Ware, Colon Ware, and Robert Ware.

Surviving is his wife, Rebecca Ware; mother-in-law, Lillian Allen; step-sons, Anthony Gibson, and Ernest Churchwell; daughters, Tammy Carr and Mary Jane Abercrombie; brothers-in-law; Robert Allen (Robbie) and Steve Allen (Sherry); sisters, Catherine Wiggins, Janice Johnson, Diane Griffith (Merill), Debbie Hughes (Manson), and Sherry Burrell; brother, Ronald Ware (Sharin Gibson); several nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews; a step-son, Axton Churchwell; and several step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Townson-Rose Funeral Chapel, Murphy with Rev. Gale Jenkins, Rev. Keith Greg, and Rev. Charles Neal officiating. Rev. Harold Crowder will officiate the graveside service. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Kimbrell, Chris Monkus, Traven Monkus, Nate Anderson, Randall Kimbrell, and Ronald Ware. Brian Hogan, Manson Hughes, Chris Payne, James Hughes, Merle Griffith and Jeff Chastian will serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, February 13, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
