Dessie Dallas Womble, age 66 of Hayesville, NC passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2016.
Dessie was born in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late Luther Carroll and Elsie Prince Dillard. She was a cook in a restaurant. Dessie was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Womble; one son, John Womble; one brother, O’Dell Dillard and one sister, Patricia Dillard.
She is survived by one son, David Womble of Hayesville; one daughter, Shanda Womble of Hayesville; three sisters, Patsy Dillard, Wanda Dillard and Janet Barton and husband Bobby all of Murphy; one nephew, Josh Barton; nieces, Jennifer Barton and Angel Kendrick and husband Matt; and one great-nephew, Elias Kendrick.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Johnny Foster will officiate. Burial will be in the Ranger Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM, Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
