Wanda Gay Roberson Chastain, age 57 of Jackson, South Carolina and of Murphy, NC passed away Friday April 7th 2017. She was the daughter of William and Doris Hedrick Roberson. Wanda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Wanda was of the baptist faith, loved to fish, enjoyed gardening, playing golf and enjoyed her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Roberson.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Chastain of more than 40 years; daughter, Melissa Creason and husband Preston and their children, Madyson, Natalie, Chase and CJ; son, Jeremy Chastain and wife Ashley and their children, Brynsley and Jadon; brother, Michael Roberson and sister, Kathy Cameron.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at 4:00PM at New Martins Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Hoyt Brown and Rev. Paul Ray Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in the New Martins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at New Martins Creek Baptist Church Monday, April 10, 2017 from 2-4PM at New Martins Creek Baptist Church.
