Randy Baumgarten, age 56 of Hayesville, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Murphy Medical Center.
Randy was a native of Dupage County, Illinois. He was the son of Carol Jaeger Baumgarten of Illinois and the late Richard Baumgarten. Randy was the owner of Baumgarten Concrete. He loved playing golf, water skiing, boating, snowmobiling, motor cross, guns and shooting. Randy also enjoyed spending time with friends and helping others. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Baumgarten.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Tammy Baumgarten; daughters, Ashley Maloney and husband Sean of Minneapolis, MN, Brooke Baumgarten of Orlanda, FL and Breann Baumgarten of Ft. Pierce, FL; step-sons, Earl Lance and wife Darla of Ranger, NC and Jeremy Lance of Hayesville, NC; brother, Rob Baumgarten and wife Tracey of Vale, CO and their children, R.J., Jasper, Joey, and Braelyn; and grandchildren, Carter Furlaong, Rylan Maloney and McCoy Maloney.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Monday, May 15, 2017 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Rd #102, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
