Helen E. Matson, age 79, of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Blue Ridge Georgia.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harold and Elizabeth Gustie Evans. Helen was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Matson.
She is survived by two sons, Guy Matson and Gary Matson both of Murphy, NC; a sister, Kathy Zufelt of Florida; and grandchildren.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Townson Rose Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
