Rev. Everett Horace Morrow, age 87, of Murphy went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 2, 2018 at his home. He was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Simon Peter and Donnie Baker Morrow. He was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Preaching was Everett's passion. He began preaching 45 years ago and pastored many different churches in the area.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Morrow; son, Michael Scott Morrow; two brothers, Hobert and Harford Morrow and sister, Lucille Ware.
He is survived by his son, Bruce Morrow of Murphy, daughter, Sharon Brown and husband Dennis of Harrison, TN; brother Attlee Morrow and wife Barbara of Murphy; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Maggie Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Tony Ware will officiate. Pallbearers will be Justin, Jake, Josh and Scott Morrow, Dustin Brown and Brad Chastain.
The family will receive friends from 12-2PM, Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
