Deborah Ann Crowe, age 72 of Murphy, NC passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021.
She was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late Andrew and Cherline Carringer Greene. Deborah was a seamstress for Levi Strauss. She was also the owner/operator of two restaurants and two convenience stores. Deborah was a member of Old Fashion Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Nathaniel Parrish.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Selina Jones and husband Matt; sisters, Carolyn Morrow, Linda Morrow and Gail Baker; brother Eddie Greene; grandchildren, Justin Parrish, Cody Allen, Erin Scurry and Caleb Allen; great grandchildren, Alaina Scurry, Elsie Parrish and Finley Parrish; several nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Danny Allen and Joy Rose.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jim Morrow and Pastor Hoyt Brown will officiate. Singers will be The Wilson Family.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm – 2 pm, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the family to help with expenses.
