Rebecca Ann Dellinger Carroll, 85, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was a native of Gaston County in Cherryville, North Carolina. She had worked as an office manager in the textile industry.
Rebecca was a member of Cherryville Church of God and had attended Journey Fellowship Church.
Rebecca was the daughter of the late Alfred and Blanche Hicks Dellinger and the wife of the late Bobby Carroll, Sr. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna C. Conlon.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby W. Carroll, Jr. and wife Debra of Franklin, NC, and Michael D. Carroll and wife Julie of Newton, NC; a daughter, Diana C. Garrett and Pastor Patrick Garrett of Murphy; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Journey Fellowship Church with Pastor Patrick Garrett and Debra Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 Saturday afternoon at the church.
