Jerry Lee Painter, age 63 of Austell, Georgia, passed away at his home on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Jerry was born in Cherokee County to the late Robert Lee Painter and Ruth Rich Painter. He was a roofer for over 45 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a little brother, Michael; and by two of the most wonderful people, his aunt and uncle, Addie and Al Painter.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Kron Painter and stepson, Phillip Kron, who cared for him till the end; two sons, Brandon and Jeremy Painter of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; a sister, Judy (Carroll) Hyde of Andrews; a brother, Robert Painter (Ha Nguyen) of Wichita, Kansas; three granddaughters and nephew Eric Aadresen (Crystal) and Sorren.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Valley River Cemetery in Andrews. Rev. Kenny White will officiate.
