Josephine "Jo" Radford, age 75 of Murphy, NC passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Eugene and Janie Dockery Lovingood. Jo was a homemaker and enjoyed painting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Radford.
She is survived by her son, Eric Radford and wife Janet; one brother, Harold Lovingood and wife Barbara; four grandchildren, Sarah Evans and husband Anthony, James, Luke, and Seth Radford; and one nephew, Earl Lovingood.
Funeral Services will be held at 7 pm, Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Jerry Kilpatrick will officiate. Graveside Service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Earl Lovingood, Kevin Carter, Wayne Dockery, Luke Radford and James Radford.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm, Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
