Johhny Lee Owens, Jr, 53, of Murphy passed away Monday, April 14, 2025. He was the son of Johnny Lee Owens, Sr., and Yvonne Smith Murphy. Johnny was a carpenter in construction, doing framing. He loved jeeping, working at his shop, and being around his boys whom he loved dearly. Johnny was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Georgia.
Surviving Johnny are sons, Micah Owens, Sheldon Owens, and Darius Owens; a brother, Eric Owens; a sister, Chandra Green; as well as his best friend, Mistie Owens.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
