Sheila Mason Moore, age 59 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
Sheila was born in Polk County, TN to the late Frances Tanner Mason and Zeke Mason. She lived in Murphy, NC until she moved to Rising Sun, MD in 2003. Sheila enjoyed spending time outside, decorating and teaching her grandkids how to be strong, but caring towards others. She also loved her family and enjoyed the time they were together.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 21 years, Donald Moore; her two daughters: April Davenport and husband David of Murphy, NC, Amanda McConnell of Rising Sun, MD; her son, Aaron Morgan McConnell of Rising Sun, MD; brother, Mike Mason and wife Tammie of Fredricksburg, VA; sister, Karen James and husband Gary of Andrews, NC and grandchildren: Aiden, Christian, Wyatt and Bella.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy. Rev. Tim Dickey will officiate. Burial will be in Peachtree Commuinity Cemetery in Murphy, NC. Pallbearers will be Donald Moore, David, Christian, Wyatt, and Bella Davenport, and Aiden House.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
