Rosetta May Carroll Alderton, age 90 of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Rosetta was born in Cherokee County, North Carolina to the late Howard and Laura Chambers Carroll. She loved to bowl, fish and take care of her family. Rosetta was a member of Flint River Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alderton; her sons, Wayne Alderton and Douglas Alderton; and her sister in law, Martha Ann Carroll.
Rosetta is survived by her son, Richard Alderton and wife Lisa; her brother, James Carroll; her grandchildren, Rebecca Alderton, Carissa Campbell, Cari Welles and Laura Alderton; and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Murphy. Jimmy Carroll will officiate.
