Lee Lloyd Fischer, age 65 of Murphy, NC passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023.
He was born in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Leroy and Doris Fink Fischer. Lee was a US Army veteran; he served as a military policeman. He loved fishing and drinking his Pepsi's. Lee loved animals; he worked for a veterinarian in his younger days. He had a heart of gold and loved helping people. Lee was a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his service dog of seven years, Dutch.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Fischer; one son, Joshua Michael Diskin of Missoula, Montana; one daughter, April Grantham and husband Josh of Murphy; one brother, Lynn Fischer and wife Nancy of Mesa, Arizona; one sister, Rose Jackson and husband, Donald of Phoenix, Arizona; one granddaughter, Naomi Grantham; and his dogs, Trooper and Tundra.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Little Brasstown Baptist Church. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
