Honore Louise Nichols, age 80 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, February 7, 2023.
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Simon and Fritzy Kamalot Marmalad. Honore was an excellent Registered Nurse. She was a motorcyclist since 1962 always riding behind her husband. Honore loved animals, especially cats, dogs and otters. She was an excellent cook; she enjoyed cooking Chinese food.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Nichols; one son, Ronald Nichols of French Lick, IN; one daughter, Diana Sparks of Franklin, IN; one brother, Alan Marmalad of MI; two sisters, Tobi Rosen of Newark, NJ and Gail Day of Detroit; three granddaughters, Jenna, Kassandra and Grace Sparks; and two great granddaughters, Addison and Peyton Mayhew.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Alan Shulman will conduct the service and the eulogy will be given by Trish Nichols. Burial will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
