Jeffrey Jan Freeman, age 59 of Marble, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
Jeffrey was born in Haywood County to the late Ralph and Omer Freeman. He loved going camping, riding, and hanging out with his sons.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Clifton, Ronnie and Marvin Freeman; and a sister, Janie Freeman Dockery.
Jeffrey is survived by his sons, John Freeman (Cari), Deric Freeman, Dylan Freeman and Dewayne Gibson; his daughter, Shalon Barnard (Eli); his brothers, Tommy Freeman and J.L. Freeman; his sisters, Brenda Ball (Clyde) and Annie Lou Queen; his grandchildren, Jacob Freeman, Ledger Barnard, Jasmine Freeman, Promise Gibson, Kimber Barnard, Nehemiah Freeman and Addlyn Freeman; great grandchild, Malia Freeman; and a special niece, Angela Cordin.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Andrews. Pastor Ralph Barnard will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Church Cemetery in Swain County, NC. Pallbearers will be Joe Freeman, Jeremiah Freeman, Dawson Burris, Nathan Freeman, William Freeman, Deric Freeman, Eli Barnard, Devin Canter and Ricky Freeman.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Andrews prior to the funeral service.
