Obituary for Nettie Miller Erdelt

Nettie Miller Erdelt, 88, of Murphy passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Otto and Frances Guthmann Miller.

Nettie spent 30 years working as an interior decorator and 20 years after retirement volunteering at National Parks, National Forest Service, and Private Resorts, seeing our beautiful United States.

Nettie was a faithful member of Saint Williams Catholic Church. She sang in the choir at Saint Williams Catholic Church and Saint Marys Church in Victoria, Texas. She kept her faith through good times and bad times. Nettie loved volunteering for Logans Run. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to the parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Leon Victor Erdelt; sons, Christopher John Erdelt, and Phillip Wayne Erdelt; a daughter, Ada Lynn Braun.

Surviving is her partner of 12 years, Andy Stor; sons, Leon Erdelt, Jr, and Emil "Tony" Erdelt; daughters, Deniece Delane and husband, Danny Ray, Ramona Davis, Jacqueline "Jackie" Erdelt, Charlotte Erdelt, and Tina Koncava and husband, Dwayne; a brother, Richard Miller; a sister, Joyce Spiegal; daughter-in-law, Cindy Erdelt; son-in-law, Robert Braun; and 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Saint William Catholic Church with Father Alex Ayala officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Williams Catholic Church, the Humane Society or charity of your choice.
