Mickel "Mike" Scott Sawdy of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
He was born in Lansing, Michigan to the late David and Jean Poole Sawdy. Mike was the owner & operator of a carpet cleaning business. He loved NASCAR racing, deep sea fishing, traveling, Daytona Beach and cooking. Mike enjoyed John Wayne movies. He was a good man and was always willing to help others in need.
He is survived by his wife, Tessa Sawdy of Murphy; one son, Michael Sawdy of Murphy; one daughter, Marie Sawdy of Murphy; one brother, Dewayne Sawdy of Georgia; one sister, Patty Aeger of Georiga; and special furbaby, Samantha.
No services are planned.
