Nancy Moss, age 68 of Indian Trail, NC and formerly of Marble, NC passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Indian Trail, NC.
She was born in Dublin, GA to the late Paul and Maggie Mackey. Nancy was a media coordinator in the Cherokee County Schools. She was a volunteer at the Cherokee County Historical Museum, Red Cross and the Cherokee County Master Gardeners. Nancy was a member of the Marble Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Moss and wife Amanda of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Amy Moss and Jared Greenwald of Marietta, GA and Joanna Parker and husband Doug of Indian Trail, NC; one sister, Ann Bluestein and husband David of Darien, GA; three granddaughters, Callie Parker, Chloe Parker and Kara Moss.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Marble Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Hawke and Rev. John Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in the Moss Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Oran Mosteller, Walter Rich, Robbie Parker, Johnathan Hedden, Knox Chapman and Jeffrey Moss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jared Greenwald and Doug Parker.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Marble Springs Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cherokee County Historical Musuem, 87 Peachtree Street, Murphy, NC 28906 or to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
