Rose Anne Chastain, age 52, of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Buncombe County and the daughter of Peggy Gallion Brock of Asheville, NC and the late Earl Brock. Rose Anne worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. She was a member of the Georgetown Baptist Church. Rose Anne loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Chastain; five sons, Paul Price, Nick Price, Matthew Price, James Hawks and Anthony Hawks all of Asheville, NC; four daughters, Beverly Price, Christina Price, Amanda Price and Elizabeth Hawks all of Asheville, NC; four brothers, James Brock, Mike Brock, Mark Brock and Richard Brock all of Asheville, NC; one sister, Jennifer Brock of Asheville, NC; and two grandchildren, Paul Benson Price, Jr. and Channing Price.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Pastor Lee Davis will officiate. Eulogy will be given by the family. Burial will be in the Sawmill Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Bryson City, NC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Street, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
