Roy Clifford Walls, age 43 of Murphy, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 in Cherokee County.
A native of Cherokee County, North Carolina, he is the son of Roy William Walls and Evelyn Louise Walls (Panter). He was of the Baptist Faith. He loved his sons and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tree work.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tia Baliles Walls; sons, Clayton Walls (Savannah), Jeremiah Walls and Zander Baliles; his sisters, Emma Walls and Sabrina Roberson (Jon); and his grandson, Garrett Walls.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy. Rev. Josh Ledford, Rev. Steve Ware, and Gary Graves will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Clayton Walls, Elijah Searcy, Shawn Searcy, Jon Roberson, Clifford Panter and Seth Hancock.
The family will receive friends from 12-1pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy prior to the funeral service.
