Dolly Cabe, 95, of Hayesville passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Towary and Earie Young Dowell. She had worked in a restaurant as a cook and taking care of the family. Dolly enjoyed working in her garden, canning, sewing, and quilting. She loved the Lord, going to church, and loved to sing.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Cabe; a son, Russell Cabe; and sisters, Nollie Guffey, and Dee Mosteller.
Surviving Dolly is a grandchild, Preston Cabe (Amanda); and great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Cabe, and Maci Cabe; and several other close family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Union Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Womble officiating. Pallbearers will be Kim Jones, Adam Smith, Jamie Reynolds, Randy Mosteller, Howard Blankenship, and Joey Buckner. Music will be conducted by Josh McConnell.
