Veronica Gail Parker, age 80 of Marble, NC passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024.
A native of Cherokee County, NC, she traveled the country and lived in various places until retirement when she came back home to her beloved mountains. Gail is the daughter of the late Austin Pearley and Willa Mae O'Dell Parker. She worked at Clifton Precision and then became a full-time mother and homemaker. Gail loved spending time reading, bird watching and exploring our country. Her favorite past time was spending time with her daughters and their families. Gail was a member of Marble Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dean and Billy Parker; and one sister, Mary Ann Revis.
She is survived by six daughters, Pam Crisp Moore of Marble, NC, Maria Crisp Olvera of Woodstock, GA, Melissa Humble (Frank) of Andrews, NC, Claudia Crisp Bullough of Charlotte, NC, Tiffany Smart of Kingsport, TN and also Jade Adell of Andrews, NC; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will begin at 12 pm, Thursday, July 4, 2024 at her family homestead in Marble, NC.
