Obituary for Geneva Craig

Geneva Craig, age 92 passed away July 12, 2017 at Murphy Medical Center. She was born in Athens, TN on March 18, 1925 to the late Annie Hamby. She was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church. She was retired from MGM Brakes. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Craig; daughters, Frannie and Bernice Peels; grandsons, Paul Craig Jr. and Wesley Chancy and granddaughter, Angela Franklin.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jack of Murphy; daughters, Glenda and husband Rocky of McCayesville, GA, Beulah White of Mount Holly, NC, Millie Winters and husband Jim of Charlotte, NC, Gail Dockery and husband Tom of Murphy, NC, Sharon Sellers and husband Mike of Mount Holly, NC; son, JR Peels and wife, Connie of Murphy, NC; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and special friends of the family, Lynn Anys and Barbara and Sheila Berrong all of Murphy.

Per Genevas wish, there will be no services.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
