Frankie Lorene Anderson Cornwell, age 80 of Murphy, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Frankie was born in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Charles Franklin and Thelma Lorene Akin Anderson. She had worked in the cafeteria at Murphy Middle School and also had worked at Clifton for 37 years. Frankie enjoyed taking care of her rose bushes, mowing, landscaping and her beloved dogs, especially "Tank".
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cornwell; and her brothers, Jimmy Anderson and Jake Anderson.
Frankie is survived by her son, Charlie Cornwell and wife Lesha; her daughter, Cindy Conley; her sister, Elaine Helson; her grandchildren, Johnathon Fleming and Dustin Miller; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Fleming, Madelin Shook and Ethen Miller.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Murphy. Pastor Harold Stiles and Pastor Scott Cole. Pallbearers will be Dustin Miller, Johnathan Fleming, Charlie Cornwell, Terry Rogers, Michael Lovingood and Shon Cearley.
