Julie Ann Beavers, age 63 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024.
She was born in Towns County, GA to the late Elbert and Flossie Odom Beaver. Julie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, singing and fellowshipping with her church family. Julie was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Blairsville, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Ethan Beavers; one brother, Kenneth Beavers; two brothers in laws, Kenny Hyde and Tim McCord.
Julie is survived by her husband, Jerry Beavers; two sons, Rick Beavers (Amanda) and Wes Beavers (Caryn); one brother, Jerry Beaver (Betty); four sisters, Jessie May Jones (Johnny), Polly Hyde, Judy Patterson (Johnny) and Joanne McCord; grandchildren, Austin Beavers (Madison), Regan, Colby, Colson, Trent, Owen and Kasen Beavers; one great grandchild, Kambrie Beavers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Grady Ray and Rev. Jaron Whitmore will officiate. Music will be provided by Rev. Grady Ray, Koty and Bridget Queen, and Jaron and Katie Whitmore. Burial will be in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin, Trent, Colby and Owen Beavers, David and Adam May, Scott Queen and Ryan Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be Kasen and Colson Beavers.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
