Carol Patton Anderson, 71, of Hayesville passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Murphy Rehab and Nursing. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Martin Patton. Carol had worked as a sewing machine operator in the textile industry. She enjoyed being outdoors, going to thrift stores, cooking and cleaning. Carol was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Anderson; her brothers, Morris Patton (Phyllis), RJ Patton, Paul Patton and Jerry Patton; and her brother-in-law, Merle Kephart.
She is survived by her sister, Joyce Patton Kephart; her sisters-in-law, Helen Patton, Ruth Patton and Brenda Patton; and her four nephews and two nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Martin Hill Baptist Church with Rondall Brown and Billy Franklin officiating. Music will be provided by the 2x2 quartet.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Martin Hill Baptist Church prior to the memorial service.
