Judy V. Hall, age 80 of Brasstown, NC passed away at her residence on Monday, June 26, 2023 after an extended illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Edgar Columbus and Wilda Davis Farner. Judy enjoyed working word search puzzles and cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Rev. Warren Hall; three brothers, Fess, LT and Dale Farner; three sisters, Barbara Hughes, Jean Lovingood and Louise Stalcup; several brother in laws and sister in laws.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Morgan (Paul) of Brasstown; one sister, Deloris (Lois) Pace of Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Tony Gilbert, Rev. Dallas Crowder and Rev. Brian Davenport will officiate. Music will be conducted by New Hope Baptist Church Choir. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Cook, Jacob Matheson, Glenn Matheson, Michael Paul Lovingood, Dean Farner, Jimmy Palmer and Rick Carter.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
