Glenn "Eddie" Edward Holloway, Jr., age 37 of Andrews, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.
He was born in Cherokee County to Glenn Edward Holloway, Sr. and Eunice Newton Birchfield. He was a construction carpentry worker. Eddie loved to fish, play card games, irritating Jamie and spending time with his nieces. He was full of life and loved his family.
Eddie is preceded in death by his son, Logan Holloway.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Darla Michelle Dockery; his son, Isaiah Holloway; his daughter, Charlene Dockery; his sister, Marian Mitchell (Buddy); and nieces, Jasmine Holloway and Brooklyn Walker.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in the Peachtree community. Pastor Gary Patterson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jamie Cochran, Dalton Hooper, AJ Carr, Warren Raymond, Bo Newton and Buddy Elrod.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Monday, June 3, 2024 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy prior to the graveside service.
